Personal Branding
Brand New You – discussing identity, image and impact
Goal of the workshop
To have a chance of success, a manager or professional must be unique, strong-willed and stand out from the rest. It is no mean feat to be attractive and recognizable to customers, clients and co-workers. Those who are genuine exude belief in their own strengths: a good wine doesn’t need a crown. What do you tell others about yourself?
Target group
This workshop is for anyone who wants to find out where his/her strengths lie, how he/she comes across to others, and how he/she can present himself/herself as genuinely as possible. We have also found that (young) professionals gain a great deal of understanding and action from it. Maximum number of participants: 12
Approach of the workshop
The workshop is guided by the card game Brand New You, developed in part by trainer Rutger Slump with regard to Personal Branding. Brand New You gets you talking about what’s really important to you. You can talk to each other in an intimate setting about what makes you special as professionals. The game helps you to clarify this for yourself and others. There is room for dreaming, doing, thinking and feeling.
Broadly speaking, we will go through the following five steps:
- At the beginning. What do you put into this? Where do you want to go?
- Identity. What is your strength? What makes you unique? What can you lose yourself in completely? To what do you give your all? What is your passion?
- Image. What can you do or would you be better off not doing? How do others perceive you? Are your heart, mind
and behavior on the same wavelength? Do the things you want match up with the things you do?
- Impact. How do you present yourself? What choices do you make in your professional presentation? In the
elevator, in the coffee corner, during meetings? Do you go to network meetings? What do you do there? To whom
or what can you relate?
- At the end. Time for a new start? What are you going to do with what you have learned?
