1.5-meter society

Your safety and that of our employees is paramount. At Landgoed de Horst we keep a distance of 1.5 metres from each other. Together we create a safe learning and working environment with a few measures. Both in the public areas and in the separate learning areas.

Measures for a safe environment

Check-in

  • Upon arrival and departure, we kindly ask you to disinfect your hands at the disinfection column. You can clean your hands with disinfectant gel in various places throughout the estate.
  • The room keys for the overnight stay are placed in the learning room.
  • We ask you to wear a face mask in public areas.

Restaurant

  • Our chefs work according to a strict hygiene protocol and wear protective clothing, such as gloves and aprons, while preparing your meal.
  • The restaurant is closed after 17:00.
  • For breakfast and lunch you must make a reservation for a specific timeframe.
  • Diner will be served on reservation as a take away box. You can eat the box in your room.

Learning areas

  • The learning areas are set up with a space of 1.5 metres between the seats. You always have a yardstick at your disposal in the learning area.
  • The learning areas you use are large enough for the desired setup with a distance of 1.5 metres. If a different setup is required to guarantee the distance, we will contact you to discuss.
  • We have set the ventilation systems in the learning areas and the public areas to supply fresh air from outside and to extract the air from the space. The air supply and extraction per m3 are in balance.

Breaks

  • For breaks, periods are agreed with the trainer or contact person. It is very important that each group adheres to these periods. You are requested not to enter the public areas unnecessarily.

Lounges and public areas

  • We keep 1.5 metres apart in the public areas. You will be informed of this with stickers and lines.
  • Our cleaning team cleans all public areas and toilets every hour. Door handles, banisters, tables and knobs of the coffee machine are constantly cleaned as well.
  • A facemask is required.

Employees

  • Our employees work according to a strict protocol regarding disease complaints.
  • Employees who come into contact with guest products wear gloves.
  • Our employees regularly wash their hands with disinfectant soap and ensure extra cleaning. They are also instructed about a healthy lifestyle.

With the above measures, we do everything we can to create a clean, spacious learning and working environment. We make it possible for you to keep 1.5 metres away from others. However, we also ask all our guests to take their own responsibility. Please adhere to the measures prescribed by the NIPHE:

  • Wash hands regularly
  • Sneeze and cough in the elbow
  • Use paper tissues
  • Do not shake hands
  • Keep 1.5 metres away from others
  • Stay home when you have a cold and/or fever
