The Offenberg rooms are located in the Banning building. All rooms in Banning are named after former directors of the Kerk en Wereld Foundation. This foundation purchased the De Horst Estate in 1946 and established the Dutch Academy for Public Education here, which later became the school for social work. Pupils lived on-site and received a church-based education focused on supporting church and community life in post-war society.
Joke Offenberg served as Director of Education from 1980 to 1984 and completed the Church Work Training Programme (WIKA). The Banning building houses two identical rooms named Offenberg: Offenberg I and Offenberg II. Both overlook the Learning Lane and have their own terrace for your use.
The Offenberg Rooms are suitable for a variety of meetings and other (business) gatherings in a tranquil environment. We’ll arrange the space entirely to suit your needs.
Do you have any questions after reading the above? We warmly invite you for a guided tour, during which we’ll discuss the possibilities with you over a cup of coffee. It’s also the perfect opportunity to experience the atmosphere of our location firsthand.
