This way, you’ll discover Driebergen and the surrounding area in perhaps the most enjoyable way: by bike.

Want to explore Driebergen and the surrounding area at your own pace? Then book the Cycling Package at Landgoed de Horst.

On the day of arrival, two bicycles will be ready for you to explore the area. When booking the Cycling Package, choose whether you prefer to ride a regular bicycle or an e-bike. Enter your choice in the comments field in step 3 of the reservation.

At our reception, you will find various route maps with beautiful cycling routes in the area. Would you also like to enjoy something tasty to eat or drink along the way? Then take one of our picnic baskets with you on your bike ride. These can be added during the reservation or booked on the spot via reception. A picnic basket includes, among other things, a club sandwich, sweets, wine, fresh fruit, and a savory snack.

Overnight stay at Landgoed de Horst

Room with a view

Wake up with a view of the Utrecht forests: from your hotel room, you can walk or cycle straight into the private forest of Landgoed de Horst. In your room, you will discover an exciting story of visual art, photography, poetry, or music. Outside your room, the forest awakens in the spring sun, and you can enjoy budding trees and plants.

Every room is equipped with bathrooms with a bath or shower, a toilet, and a hairdryer.  In addition, each room has a television and access to our free Wi-Fi network.

You can park your car free of charge on our grounds, in one of our three parking areas. There is also a covered bicycle shed with charging points for e-bikes.

Nature and culture

The Utrechtse Heuvelrug is an ancient nature reserve. In 2003, the area was declared Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park, establishing a legal basis to protect the area and keep it attractive for future generations. Today, the park is widely used for outdoor activities such as walking and cycling.

Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park stretches over no less than 100 km², offering plenty of space to explore the area by bike. On the National Park website , under the heading ‘Visiting the park’, you will find an extensive list of cycling routes. One of the routes covers the entire park—around 200 km! 

Of course, you can also cycle through the surrounding villages and towns. Whatever your preference, our reception will help you find a suitable cycling route.

We certainly hope it won’t happen, but if you break down along the way, our repair team will come to you to help you get back on the road.
