Two-day arrangement

Spring stands for renewal and this is noticeable in everything around us. Green leaves grow on the trees, colorful flora emerges, and birds take up residence among the sheltered branches.

From Landgoed de Horst you can go in all directions: walk through the awakening forests, travel through history with castle and fort visits, or visit one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands: Utrecht. Next to our reception in the manor house, you will find a wide range of flyers for fun, cultural, and active activities.

Not only in nature, but also culturally, there is much to do.

Landgoed de Horst consists of multiple, both old and new, buildings. Our manor house, for example, is almost 200 years old, while our newest additions were opened less than 15 years ago. In the surrounding area, you can discover along various walking and cycling routes the combination of old Dutch history and modern, contemporary life.

Our estate is a great base for anyone who enjoys visiting castles, discovering forts, canoeing, and walking. But also for a good shopping day, you are at the right place with us. In the surrounding villages, you will find many unique and cozy boutiques. Are you more of a big city person? By public transport, you can be in the center of Utrecht within thirty minutes, with its large shopping center and small hidden streets.

You stay in one of our roomy double rooms. These double rooms are created in a small-scale experience hotel that we have named Eb & Vloed. Eb & Vloed is a standalone building on our premises. This way, you sleep somewhere different from where you eat.

Each hotel room tells its own exciting story through visual art, photography, or music. The hotel rooms are equipped with an open bathroom with a shower or bath, free wifi, television, kettle, and a hairdryer.

The architecture of these rooms is focused on the connection with the forest. No matter which room you stay in, you always have a view of the forest.
