Landgoed de Horst consists of both historic and contemporary buildings. Our manor house, for example, is nearly 200 years old, while our most recent additions opened less than 15 years ago. In the surrounding area, you’ll find a blend of Dutch history and modern life along various walking and cycling routes.
Our estate is a perfect starting point for anyone who enjoys visiting castles, exploring forts, canoeing, or hiking. But it’s also a great base for a day of shopping. The nearby villages are home to many charming and unique boutiques. Prefer the buzz of the big city? Public transport will take you to the heart of Utrecht in less than thirty minutes, where you can explore a large shopping centre as well as hidden little streets full of surprises.
You will stay in one of our roomy double rooms, located in a small-scale experience hotel we’ve named Eb & Vloed. This stand-alone building on our estate offers a unique stay—separate from where you dine.
