To take care of you as well as possible, a three-course dinner will be ready for you in our restaurant on the day of arrival. Before that, you will have plenty of time to unpack your belongings and explore our private forest and the surrounding nature.
At our reception, you will find various walking and cycling route maps that will take you across the Heuvelrug. Didn’t bring your own bike? No problem! At Landgoed de Horst, it is possible to rent bicycles. We have regular bicycles and e-bikes.
Wake up with a view of the Utrecht forests: from your hotel room, you can walk or cycle straight into the private forest of Landgoed de Horst. In your room, you will discover an exciting story of visual art, photography, poetry or music. Outside your room, the forest awakens in the spring sun, and you can enjoy budding trees and plants.
Each room is equipped with bathrooms with a bath or shower, a toilet and a hairdryer. In addition, every room has a television, free Wi-Fi, a kettle and a safe.
You can park your car free of charge on our grounds, in one of our three car parks. There is also a covered bicycle shed with charging points for e-bikes.

Landgoed de Horst consists of several old and new buildings. Our country house, for example, is almost 200 years old, while our latest additions opened less than 15 years ago. In the surrounding area, along various walking and cycling routes, you will also discover the combination of old Dutch history and modern contemporary life.
Our estate is a good base for anyone who enjoys visiting castles, discovering forts, canoeing, and walking. But you have also come to the right place with us for a good day of shopping. In the villages in the surrounding area, you will find many unique and cozy boutiques. Are you more of a big-city person? By public transport, you can be right in the center of Utrecht within thirty minutes, with its large shopping center and small hidden streets.
