Saving water
Turn the tap off!
Together with our hotel guests, we’ve already achieved so much: we’ve saved over 5 million litres of water!
A milestone we’re incredibly proud of – since January 2024, we’ve been working in partnership with Made Blue to consciously reduce our water usage, and we invite our guests to do the same.
Made Blue is an organisation committed to providing clean drinking water in developing countries. In every hotel room, you’ll find a door hanger with simple yet impactful suggestions for saving water – such as turning off the tap while brushing your teeth, taking shorter showers, or reusing towels.
By scanning the QR code on the Made Blue hanger, guests can choose which project they would like to donate their saved water to.
We’re very proud to share what we’ve already donated since the beginning of this year.
And the best part: together with our coastal location, Hotel de Baak Seaside, we’ve now saved over 10 million litres of water in total – a beautiful milestone that inspires us to keep going.
We remain committed to building a greener future, with our next goal being 10 million litres saved at Landgoed de Horst alone.
Every conscious choice, big or small, brings us one step closer. 🌿
